Middlebury College New Museum

McLeod Architects applied its extensive understanding of Middlebury College and its campus to develop concepts for a new museum of art in the campus core. The new museum is envisioned to sit directly across a quad from McLeod Architects’ recently renovated Johnson Art and Architecture Building, helping to define a new “Arts Agora” as conceived during the planning of the Johnson renovation. McLeod Architects served as the College's advisor and representative during the pre-design phase for the new museum, working closely with the museum director and staff, College administration, facilities management, and consultants.
